Park several meters away from work. This will increase your steps per day by allowing yourself to walk to and from work.
Stand when you can. Standing increases your metabolic rate compared to sitting or resting. For example, standing when cooking
Take the stairs over the elevator
Cleaning the house e.g. vacuuming or cleaning the bathrooms
Gardening/weeding
Walking/riding around the zoo
Playing with your kids e.g. playing ball games
Riding bikes with your kids
Walk the Dog
Chopping/collecting wood for the fire place
