Macquarie Health Collective is an accredited training practice with RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) and ACRRM (The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine). As a regional health practice, we are passionate about ensuring a breadth and diversity of training, skills, and experience for registrars working with us.

    Our Practice

    Our practice is delighted to support General Practice Registrars who wish to continue working with us for further placements, or after they finish their GP Training.

    As a GP Registrar at Macquarie Health Collective, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions, as well as assist with preventive health care, across all age groups and with a variety of cultural backgrounds.

    You will learn from our experienced GPs who have special interests and expertise in areas such as women’s health, mental health, paediatrics, geriatrics, dermatology, palliative care, and chronic disease management.

  • GP Supervisors Dr Rebecca Criss and Dr Jennifer Geraghty

    Our Supervisors

    Dr Rebecca Criss has been supporting GP Registrars for many years, and has now been an accredited supervisor with our practice for the past 3 years. As a lecturer with The University of Sydney School of Rural Health, Dr Criss has also been involved in educating medical students for over 10 years. Dr Criss supports medical students during their placements with our practice in both their 2nd and 4th years of study. Dr Criss is also an accredited RACGP examiner.

    Dr Jennifer Geraghty has been supervising GP Registrars for approximately 7 years. She has also been a Senior Lecturer at The University of Sydney School of Rural Health for over 20 years. Jenny supports medical students during their placements with our practice in both their 2nd and 4th years of study.
