Melanie is a dual-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Primary School Teacher, dedicated to supporting children aged 4 to their teenage years in achieving their communication and literacy goals. She aims to provide evidence-based, individualised care tailored to each child’s needs in the areas of speech sound development, receptive and expressive language, and literacy.
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences), a Master of Science (Teaching), and a Master of Speech-Language Pathology. As a member of Speech Pathology Australia and an NSW Accredited Proficient Primary School Teacher, Melanie brings a unique blend of educational and therapeutic approaches to her practice.
Melanie's ongoing professional development includes certifications in the Sounds-Write and UFLI literacy programs, as well as the Story Champs program, which focuses on promoting oral academic language skills. Melanie believes in the importance of collaborating with parents and schools to maximise each child’s progress across all environments.
With a passion for fostering confidence and success in communication, Melanie strives to create a supportive and engaging environment for every child she works with.
