Health, our practice and our promise to you

Last week, our CEO Tanya released a video that she has been working on. It highlights our region, as well as our practices. As many of you are aware, our region is in dire need of health professionals both in our public system and our private practices. It has been our goal for a long time to encourage health providers to relocate to our region, to provide health care not just to Dubbo, but to our surrounding towns that also do not have the access to health providers that they require.

You might remember that last year, Tanya was invited to contribute to the Inquiry into health outcomes and access to health and hospital services in rural regional and remote New South Wales. This inquiry sought responses all over our region and others to help understand why rural communities are lacking health providers and adequate access to healthcare, and what the government can do to rectify these shortfalls.

It is a very complex situation, which became very apparent very quickly. On reflection of this inquiry, we have come up with what we know we can do. That is to profile our region!

Our goal is to show everyone how good it is to live here, to raise children here, to have a successful and meaningful career here, to live a live life at a slightly slower pace, and to enjoy every thing that the big city has to offer, but in a regional location.

Our promise to our patients is that we will always continue working on recruiting health providers to our region, for you and your families. With this in mind, our CEO Tanya has been working on a video that highlights our amazing region and our practices. This is only the beginning though, she has a lot more in store.

If you would like to watch our video, you can access it on our newsletter, website, and of course, on our social media accounts.

As always, please share, help us spread this message, so that it reaches all those amazing health providers out there that are looking for a tree change, and just need a little help getting there!!
