Welcome 2022 - We are hoping you will be better!

Welcome 2022! We have been waiting for you for a year now, hoping that you might (fingers crossed!) be different from 2021!

We are not sure what is in the stars for us this year, but at least we can start it off with some positive energy and good intentions. We were looking through Instagram over the holidays and really enjoyed the change in perspective. We read that many of you out there in the world are choosing to have a 2022 wish list, rather than a resolution. Let's face it, resolutions have proven to be a little bit difficult to achieve with everything going on. This might be just what we need though - a wish list rather than a resolution that we hold over ourselves like ransom. A wish list might mean we are actually a lot kinder to ourselves and acknowledge that there are things outside of our control. 

What's on our wishlist for 2022? 

  • Obviously less of the Covid! 

  • Being kinder to ourselves and others

  • Rain when we need it, sun when we need it and growth when we need it 

  • Time together

  • More support for improving rural health

This month we are taking our own advice and changing our perspective. We are looking at a healthy mind and body. This time of the year, we would all be signing up to the gym to make those drastic changes and beating ourselves up about that Christmas weight. We would like to encourage you to look at yourself differently, with kinder eyes, be more positive about your body and embrace it! We have been on a deep dive into Instagram looking for people like us that are trying to spread this message, that have great tips and some inspiration that is worth sharing with you all. 

We hope you will try to be kinder to yourself this year, because my goodness, it was tough last year. You have made it through and you should be proud of that!!
